![]() Overusing our search engine with a very large number of searches in a very short amount of time.Using a badly configured (or badly written) browser add-on for blocking content.Running a "scraper" or "downloader" program that either does not identify itself or uses fake headers to elude detection.Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse. The most common causes of this issue are: I'd put it alongside Burnout 3 as the two best arcade-style racers available today.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. The weapons are balanced and require more skill than other versions, the multiplayer modes are varied enough to keep things interesting, there's a nice visceral sense of speed, and if the two-driver dynamic is a bit gimmicky, the ability to hold two weapons at once increases the strategy. It's the best MK title ever, and I include the SNES original in that statement. I can't emphasize Mario Kart: Double Dash enough. The GC Sonic Adventure games do have some extra stuff, but again, not quite enough to justify a double-dip unless you come across them dirt cheap used or in a bargain bin somewhere. Spawn is awesome, and most people who are used to the DC / PS2 / Xbox controls have a hard time adjusting to the GC. (-: Yeah, Link is cool and all, but if you already have the Xbox version I wouldn't bother unless you find it really cheap (I picked up a second copy for the PS2 for five bucks! Heihachi is crap, but it is nice that when I school all my friends, they don't have the excuse that they're not used to the GC controller.). If you go that route, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga is a great place to start. Other good multiplatform releases available on the 'Cube include Spider-Man 2, X-Men Legends, the Tony Hawk series, and Worms 3D.Īnd of course, if you don't already have a GBA, the Gameboy Player opens up an enormous library of great GB, GBC, and GBA games. If you don't already have it for another system, you must own this game. The Gamecube is also home to the Sonic Adventure series if you're into that (I am!), as well as Sonic Mega Collection, although the Xbox and PS2 recently got their own SMCs with some Game Gear stuff missing from the 'Cube version.Īnd although you said you're only interested in 'Cube exclusives, I can't post in a recommendation thread without mentioning Soul Calibur II. Take my advice, though, and skip number 4, as it was a lackluster addition to the series which has since been surpassed. The Mario Party series isn't for everyone, but if it's your thing, there are currently three available. Super Monkey Ball 2 is a great party game, although I'd recommend renting it first if you don't have at least one friend who you know will play it with you- the single player leaves something to be desired. A total love letter to Link to the Past, arguably the best installment the franchise has ever seen. I've heard the multiplayer is absolutely amazing (wouldn't know- never been able to amass enough GBAs in one place), but it's well worth it for the single player alone. Since you seem to be into Zelda, Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure is a great game. If you have the cash to pick up an extra set of bongos or two and some friends who would be willing to play with you, it's even better. If you're into rhythm / music games at all, Donkey Konga is very fun. Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Power Tennis are the two big must-haves that aren't already on your list.
