Of course, I just got 8 new sets of dice so I'm also pretty much set for dice for a while. If you see a set you really want from them, and it's one of THEIR sets it's probably fine to order them, but I'm a little leery going to them otherwise. They have generally good product, but I'm a little leery going forward due to the organizational issues revealed by the kickstarter. So all in all - they're a dice manufacturer. If the set is one of their 11 piece ones with the d2 "coin" it's one of theirs. One thing to note - some of their sets are theirs, and others they're just reselling. Those came quickly and I'm quite happy with them. That being said, I also ordered a couple of their other sets while waiting for the big shipment - in particular the Fairy Glass and melted popsicle sets. ![]() The bonus sets (sparkly gold and silver) are really well done, and the bonus $1,000,000 stretch goal d20 is oversized and looks GREAT. The base body is machined from aerospace aluminum, but the plates are made of brass, copper, and stainless steel, which makes these dice really. Each die consists of one base body and six numbered plane plates. Their colors don't "pop" anywhere near as much as the pictures on the campaign showed, and some of the renders looked very different than the actual dice do. A precision dice that is made from seven separate components combining them into one beautiful object. That saying, I did get my dice a couple weeks ago - six sets of various colors plus the two bonus sets every larger backer got. Additional sets and individual dice can be selected as add-ons after selecting your reward. Each set contains a D20, D12, D10, D00, D8, D6 and a D4. You can choose the color of your calamity from the unlocked options. There were manufacturing difficulties (the dice weren't polished correctly), poor communication / radio silence for a while, confusion about refund policy (both on the customer and Kraken's side), and delayed shipment by about 7 months. Set of 7 dice A complete set of 7 handmade dice containing hand painted calamities. They really screwed up the communication and customer service on it, and that's left a bit of a bad taste in the mouths of many of the backers. They list the material used for each dice set in a summary below the spot where you put it into your cart on the desktop site. ![]() I was a backer of their Iconic Mythical Collection kickstarter. Is it just plastic I'm not talking about their metal dice sets, by the way, just the regular 10-15 ones.
